The consolidation pass for this date โ corroborations, contradictions, cross-source bridges, emergent patterns, fact promote/demote/retire suggestions.
Reflection โ Monday, 25 May 2026
1. Contradictions and corroborations
Contradiction โ Cashiu May 20 zero-revenue event vs. facts.md correction. The May 22 brief (BUP-6) claimed Cashiu had a "third zero-revenue event in 18 days (May 20)" with 169 DAU and 161 installs. However the facts.md correction from May 19 states that Cashiu has had daily purchase_item events and conversions since May 15 โ the May 13โ14 gap resolved. The May 22 brief did not reconcile this contradiction; May 23 brief dropped Cashiu from Top 6 entirely. Today's brief has no new Cashiu data. The May 20 "freeze" may be the same settlement-lag phenomenon (t-2 finalisation) that facts.md said was misread earlier. Without GA4 query or a deeper BQ check, the contradiction stands unresolved โ a load-bearing claim (third freeze event) remains unverified against the corrected fact base.
Corroboration โ iAds BQ data gap continues to be structurally broken. Today's brief flags iads_ia_accounts stale 17 days and iads_sources stale 17 days. This confirms the May 19 facts.md entry that iAds publisher names have been absent from BQ since ~May 1. The May 23 brief reported "last row Apr 29, MYR 119" โ now 26 days without a fresh row. No new evidence of a fix reached the pipeline. The stale source flags corroborate the "three weeks structurally broken" claim across three consecutive briefs.
Hand-waved โ Cookie Stuffing DRI, security CVEs, Subscriptions marketing fund, Trip April-leg owner, CMV Affiliate loss. All five appear in multiple briefs over the past 7 days without new evidence. The Cookie Stuffing DRI action has run 9 briefs with zero movement. The marketing fund (MYR 31,659) is May-untouched across 4 briefs. Trip April-commission leg owner is missing from May 23 and not mentioned in today's signal set. CMV Affiliate "crossed into loss" was promoted to watch on May 23; no follow-up in today's brief. These claims are being re-stated, not re-examined.
2. Cross-source bridges
Triangulation โ iAds data hole. Three concurrent sources say the same thing through different lenses: (1) BQ jimmy.conversion_agg_offfer_promotion_country shows no iAds-prefixed revenue since Apr 29 (facts.md May 19). (2) Today's pipeline health confirms iads_ia_accounts stale 17 days and iads_sources stale 17 days. (3) The May 23 and May 22 briefs both report iAds "pending-YTC MYR 965k" and "validation backlog 91.7%" โ numbers that depend on iAds internal sheets, not BQ. The BQ data system (Engineering) and the iAds reporting system (Andrew Tay) are saying different things about the same revenue pool; neither has been manually reconciled. This is a cross-source gap the brief has flagged but not resolved.
Disagreement โ Cashiu sign-up count between Group KPI tracker and Tracker Report. May 22 BUP-6 noted: "Group KPI tracker shows 3 cumulative sign-ups since January; Tracker Report shows 49 in May alone โ one source is wrong." Today's signals do not include Cashiu data, so this disagreement persists without resolution. The GA4 source (wired May 14) could arbitrate but has never been queried for this question โ the brief noted that on May 22 but no action came.
New pairing โ Hermes KB + dept signals = iPrice legal exposure. The Hermes KB (business/cmv/README.md) notes iPrice is "not actively maintained". The dept signal today adds: "IP & Trademark transfer task unassigned and undated for 73 days, creating unresolved legal exposure." This is a new bridge: the strategic deprioritisation (KB) now has a concrete legal risk (signal) that the brief has not yet connected. The iPrice Basecamp project has been silent 73 days, but the IP transfer is a legally distinct issue that needs a separate owner โ not the same as "intentionally unmaintained".
3. New-source clarification
The only new source addition since the last reflection is the v1.15.0 pipeline update (3202c22) from May 25. It includes a "DeepSeek synthesis, useful-before-smart briefing, iAds BQ fix, Tech Support routing." The iAds BQ fix likely addresses the persistent data gap (iads_ia_accounts and iads_sources stale for 17 days). However today's brief still shows both sources as stale โ the fix may not have landed successfully, or the pipeline needs a full rerun. This should be verified: if the fix is live, the facts.md claim "iAds BQ data gap confirmed ~3 weeks ongoing" needs a freshness update. If not live, the brief should flag the fix as pending.
The Tech Support routing change may redirect the 14-day-zero-completions project (signal today) to a managed queue. Worth checking in tomorrow's brief.
No other new BQ metrics, GA properties, or sheets were added in this cycle. The Basecamp truncation fixes from v1.13.1 (earlier this week) are now reflected: full messages are entering the pipeline, but no new content from Tech WIP or P&C was surfaced in today's brief.
4. Pattern emergence
decision_pending_owner โ entity "iPrice Deal" aging 73 days. The dept signal today registers an IP-transfer task unassigned for 73 days. This is the same entity (iPrice) that has appeared in facts
