The consolidation pass for this date — corroborations, contradictions, cross-source bridges, emergent patterns, fact promote/demote/retire suggestions.

Reflection — Sunday, 31 May 2026

1. Contradictions and corroborations

No load-bearing claims appear in the brief text itself — the last 7 days’ briefs are structurally identical headers with no per-BU content. The only consistent claim is that iads_ia_accounts and iads_sources have been stale for 23 consecutive days (same two sources, aged 17→23 days since 25 May). This claim gets continuing corroboration from the pipeline status itself: the age increments daily, no resolution event has occurred. The six unresolved reconciliations have also remained constant at 0 match / 0 divergent / 6 unresolved for 7 days — a hand-waved claim that is being restated without examination. No contradiction exists because the briefs carry no new evidence to challenge these figures. The single dept signal (Tech Support project blocked, 14 days running, 15 todos, zero completed) is a separate finding that does not contradict any brief claim — it’s a new structural observation that corroborates the stale-sources pattern of unresolved operational blockages.

Still hand-waved: Reconciliation count stuck at 6 for 7+ days with no triage owner, no explanation, and no evidence that anyone is working it.

2. Cross-source bridges

Three sources triangulate the same iAds data-gap finding:

  • Facts.md (2026-05-19) states iAds BQ data has been absent since ~1 May, last row 29 April.
  • Pipeline health (today + last 7 days) flags iads_ia_accounts and iads_sources at 23d stale.
  • Today's dept signals show no iAds-related activity — the only signal is a Tech Support project block, which does not address iads data.

Two sources disagree on infrastructure delay magnitude:
Facts.md (2026-05-02) lists Wals concurrent overdues as 82d (IA Dashboard), 16d (Sentry/S3), 3d (background worker). Today’s dept signal cites Sentry relay at 44d overdue and OTEL connector at 16d overdue. The Sentry figure differs (16d vs 44d) — likely different subtasks or measurement points. No resolution in the brief, and both point to the same pattern of unowned tech debt.

A new source pairing unlocked: dept signal (project_blocked) + facts.md (Wals overdues) + pipeline staleness now form a three-vector view of infrastructure neglect that wasn’t combinable before the typed signal store existed. The brief could now ask: “Is the Tech Support block related to the unresolved iads data pipeline, or is it a separate queue?”

3. New-source clarification

No new sources this cycle.

4. Pattern emergence

The typed signal store shows only one signal in the last 14 days (project_blocked for Tech Support – 202605, 14 days running). That’s insufficient to declare a recurring pattern across BUs. However, the stale-sources pattern is signal-like even though not stored as a typed record: the same two iAds sources have been stale for 23 days, aging ~1 day per day. The reconciliation count (6 unresolved) has been static for 7 days. This is a structural stagnation pattern — not a one-time anomaly. It should be promoted to facts.md as a durable finding: “Data pipeline reconciliation has been stuck at 6 unresolved items since at least 25 May 2026, and iAds source freshness has not been restored for 23+ days.”

Cross-entity pattern: “iAds” appears in stale sources, facts.md data gap, and the pipeline health — the same entity surfacing across multiple scopes with no resolution activity. No person_silence or decision_pending_owner signals observed in this window.

5. Promote / demote / retire

  • Promote — “Data pipeline reconciliation stuck at 6 unresolved items, no movement for 7 days (25–31 May 2026)”. Evidence: all 7 briefs show identical reconciliation counts. Promote to facts.md as a structural operations finding.
  • Promote — “Tech Support project blocked for 14 days with 15 open todos, zero completed; critical infra tasks (Sentry relay 44d, OTEL connector 16d) overdue, no named owner.” Evidence: dept signal 2026-05-31. Promote to facts.md under Group Services.
  • Demote — “Apr 30 revenue anomaly / four-way split (facts.md entries 2026-05-01 through 2026-05-06).” These were resolved (May 4–7 corrections). The facts.md entries are now historical noise; flag for cleanup or consolidation.
  • Demote — “Cashiu May 4 zero revenue (2026-05-05) and Cashiu transaction freeze (2026-05-16).” Both superseded by corrected queries and subsequent data (facts.md 2026-05-13 and 2026-05-19 corrections). Mark for archival.
  • Retire — “Zoho — deprecated, no longer in use” (2026-05-04). Already a correction entry; the underlying fact (Subs doesn’t use Zoho) is durable but the corrective instruction can be retired now that the brief never references Zoho.
  • Retire — “Mandy Kang — NOT leaving” (2026-05-04). The hallucination is long-cleared; this fact no longer needs active enforcement.
